Music, Dance and Theatre: The Cambridge Corn Exchange, Wheeler Street (tel: (01223) 357 851; website: www.cornex.co.uk) is the city's centre for performing arts and entertainment. The largest venue in Cambridge, it stages a wide variety of shows and performances, from cutting-edge European jazz, rock and pop, opera, comedy, classical music and kids' shows through to dance shows, new music, comedy and West End productions.

Cambridge Arts Theatre
, 6 St Edward's Passage (tel: (01223) 503 333; website: www.cambridgeartstheatre.com) is a traditional theatre, offering a wide variety of shows by professional theatre companies, amateur dramatic clubs and student groups. Also dance, music, comedy, pantomime and West End shows can be enjoyed here.

The ADC Theatre, Park Street (tel: (01223) 503 333; website: www.adc-theatre.cam) is the oldest university playhouse in the country, staging a combination of high quality student and local drama. The Guildhall, Market Square (tel: (01233) 357 851) is a listed building the centre of the city. It has two impressive spaces, The Large Hall and The Small Hall, and it is used for a variety of events from live music events to comedy, talks, craft fairs, conferences and much more.

Situated in the heart of the Anglia Ruskin University Campus (off East Road), the Mumford Theatre (tel: (01223) 352 932; website: http://web.apu.ac.uk/mumfordtheatre) is a university theatre presenting professional touring, local community and student theatre productions.

West Road Concert Hall
(tel: (01223) 335 184; website: www.westroad.org) is one of Cambridge's premiere music venues. Film: Cambridge has three cinemas.
