Detroit Tour Connection (tel: (313) 283 4332) offers a series of Wednesday evening walks (May-Sep) that include several unique downtown tours on a rotating schedule. Parts of Downtown Detroit, such as the waterfront, are well suited to leisurely strolling, as are many of the city's suburbs, such as Dearborn, Southfield, Ann Arbor and Grosse Pointe.
