The municipal airport is located 15km (9 miles) southwest of the city.

Primarily serving private/charter aircraft and small commuter flights (carrying no more than 30 passengers) with connections from Denver. Travellers to this airport can make reservations for transport into the city via Capital City Taxi (tel: (505) 438 0000) or Roadrunner Shuttle (tel: (505) 424 3367).

The Albuquerque airport is located 106km (66 miles) southwest of Santa Fe.

A modern, contemporary, full-service airport accommodating more than six million passengers annually, the Sunport is the largest commercial air facility in New Mexico and is served by 11 carriers. On site are information booths, restaurants, retail shops, and automatic teller machines. Nine car rental companies are represented at the airport, as are taxi and shuttle services.
