Wellington City YHA
This modern hostel offers fantastic facilities right in the city centre: two well equipped large kitchens and dining rooms, comfortable common areas, a laundry room, as well as a travel desk. A good selection of private and shared accommodation, with or without en suite facilities, is available. The Wellington City YHA was voted best hostel in Oceania by hostelworld.com users in 2006. No parking on site though, so drivers will have to leave the car overnight in one of the adjacent streets.
